Marquette

Marquette is a Hybrid red grape variety developed by the University of Minnesota in 2006. Marquette is the cousin of Frontenac, and the grandson of Pinot Noir.  3 North has 2 styles of wine from our Marquette grapes that are medium bodied, with aromas of cherries, and blackberries. We can’t wait for you to try them.

PINOT GRIS

Pinot Gris is a Vinifera varietal and is grown in regions all over the world. In our region, it grows with a higher natural acidity and comes across as clean and crisp lending itself to our off dry version. 3 North wine include notes of pears, apples, stonefruit, and tropical fruit.  Another fantastic grape that we look forward for you to try.

PINOT NOIR

Pinot Noir is among the most popular wine varieties in the world, and has helped cooler weather regions make their mark on the wine industry. The wines can have a silky smooth texture with flavors of red fruits, and has a light to medium body. It can also be made into several styles depending on the growing conditions. Our recent 3 North Vintage was lightly oaked to let the red fruit flavors standout.

One of the nicest wineries we’ve been at in Michigan. The atmosphere was so enjoyable and the wine selection great! Can’t wait to come back when we’re in the area again! It’s worth the 1 1/2 hr drive for us!!!!
