Line Cook & Prep Cook for 2024 
Lexington & Croswell locations

3 North is expanding and we need experienced line cooks to help bring our vision to fruition.

Customer service and teamwork are at the forefront of our business and is the most important piece to our culture. We are looking to keep the feel of our vineyard location and bring that experience to downtown Lexington.

 

We will be serving wine flights, beer flights and cider flights (or by the glass) and some small plates.

So far the plan has business hours of Wednesday through Sunday from 11am - 10pm. Most shifts will be on the weekends but we will need those weekday afternoon shifts as well.

All downtown staff will also be cross trained at the winery location down the road. We are also considering some split shifts where you would work some time at the winery location and then upon closing a few hours at the downtown location.

 

Regular Responsibilities:

  • Prepares small plate dishes focusing on presentation with basic kitchen equipment such as ovens, deli slicers, panini presses, etc

  • Handle all timing to ensure each table comes out together

  • Stocks and maintains sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure a smooth service period.

  • Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash etc.

  • Ensure all food and other items are stored properly

  • Comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines

  • Perform other kitchen duties as assigned

  • Perform housekeeping of tasting room, restrooms, patios, storage, and break areas

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of health and safety rules in a kitchen

  • Manual dexterity able to operate cutting tools and kitchen utensils

  • A team player with good communication skills

  • Patient with an ability to stay positive under pressure

  • Very good physical condition and endurance

  • High school diploma or equivalent is desirable; Training from a culinary school will be an asset

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00-16.00 per hour + 10% of tips

Taphouse Team Member 2024
Lexington Location

We are looking for a fun loving, hard working person to join our Taphouse team. You will be taking care of our guests and responsible for maintaining the casual Taphouse environment we have built the brand on. Previous brewery or winery experience is not required. We can teach you that. We need someone that will put the guest experience at the forefront!

 

This is a great role for someone who wants to get out of the house and talk with guests or as a 2nd job. We have flexible scheduling to work around most other jobs.

Regular Responsibilities:

  • Greeting customers promptly and courteously

  • Guiding customers to wines they might enjoy

  • Serve tasting room guests, wine and hard cider samples and snacks

  • Answers visitor's questions on wine, the winery and general tourist information

  • Prep cheese trays and wash glassware

  • Keep, tasting room, prep areas, and bathroom clean

  • Collect payment from guests using an iPad-based cash register system

  • Setting up and cleaning up daily operations and special events. We typically have 4-5 events per year (showers, weddings, birthday parties, etc.) and will verify staff availability prior to booking.

  • Promoting the sale of wine and non-wine products sold in the Tasting Room

  • Follow COVID cleaning procedures

The ideal candidate:

  • Has excellent people skills; able to project a friendly and helpful manner at all times

  • Able to work in a quick paced environment

  • Team Focused: Our staff works as a team sharing responsibilities, teamwork is key

  • Able to perform quality work efficiently with minimal supervision

  • Maintains a professional appearance and demeanor

  • Must be available to work 4/5 weekend shifts per month. (Sat/Sun)

  • Open to working on site special events after hours as required

  • Be able to lift 25 pounds

Additional Information:

  • Pay starts at $9.00 an hour + tips. Tips are distributed daily and average $60-150 on Saturday’s. This is not a guaranteed amount.

  • Current shifts are between 11:00 am – 10:30 pm 7 days a week. Shifts and times will open up more as we get into the warmer weather.

  • Previous wine experience is not required.
